We Matter at Atlanta's Juneteenth Parade

On June 15th, 2019 #iMatter joined in making a life long and positive impact on our youth. We participated in Atlanta's Juneteenth Parade that assisted in showing our youth a piece of their history. We want every child to know that from their first breath they inherit everything achieved previous to their re-arrival. Spirit never dies...

Over the past four decades, Juneteenth activities have increased in sponsorship, and a unified interest in the commemoration of Juneteenth has continued to grow as African descendants have been determined to ensure that the memories of the last enslaved Africans freed in this country are not forgotten.
